How To Bid
 
To bid on silent auction items, it's really easy:

Register or Sign In. 

Click on the "Items" tab at the top of the page.
View Items by category or search by Item number or name.
Click the item of interest to view the description as well as the current bid and/or price. 
The system will auto-populate the bid amount based on the set increment for the item. (Choose to bid at the set amount or higher.)
Click Bid. 


TIP #1: Take advantage of the AutoBid feature - enter your maximum amount on the auto bid tab to ensure you stay the winning bidder!

TIP #2: Click "Watch This Item" (star icon) on any auction item that interests you. View your starred items under "My Activity" on the Items page to keep tabs on all of your favorites!

Payment for any auction item, raffle ticket or donation is due after the close of the Silent Auction (9:00 PM) on April 4th, 2024 Please check-out in the "Pay" tab above by 9:30 pm.  All winning bidders (and anyone who has donated and not yet paid their balance) will be charged on Thursday  April 4th, 2024  at 10:00pm following the closing of the auction.

 

Welcome to ABLTC Foundation's Online Silent Auction!

The Silent Auction is the Foundations' largest annual fundraising event. We love that we have incorporated this virtual piece to  help raise funds to benefit our Rhode Island's most vulnerable population. Your generosity helps to protect the rights of mothers, fathers, grandparents, and all elderly or disabled individuals who are victims of abuse, neglect and financial exploitation while receiving long-term care services in Rhode Island.

How will I get my items? 

Great question! If you win a silent auction item and you are at the live event it will be available to take home with you. otherwise please note  items will be available for pick up beginning MONDAY APRIL 8th  after our auction closes at the ABLTC Foundation Office - 422 Post Road Warwick, RI ,  or contact information is included on the item certificate for winning bidders for Italy     and you can contact Keri Salinger  to  coordinate with you about getting your item(s) to you (either by pick up or drop-off). Auction Rules

  1. All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds are permitted. 
  2. All items are sold "as is." Please read special instructions carefully. Special instructions include but are not limited to restrictions, availability, transfer of items, and expiration dates. Vouchers and certificates have no cash value. 
  3. Any upgrades, up-charges, or cancellations by the winning bidder are the responsibility of the winning bidder.
  4. The ABLTC Foundation believes all descriptions and commentary accompanying the auction items to be correct; however, the ABLTC Foundation makes no warranties or representation of any kind regarding the items or services provided. 
  5. The last and the highest qualified electronic bid entry at the close of the auction shall be the buyer of that item. Each increase in bid must equal or exceed the bid increment shown within the item.
  6. If you win an auction item, you may be able to deduct the portion of your purchase price that exceeds the item's Fair Market Value (FMV). The estimated suggested tax deductible amount is calculated by subtracting the FMV from the winning bid price. All FMV are approximate. Please consult your tax advisor.
